A program managed by a local nonprofit has awarded nearly $10 million to seven Ohio organizations and their collaborators to advance science and technology innovation in support of U.S. national security initiatives. These awardees include Dayton-area colleges and universities, as well as international companies with local ties.

The Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN), which is funded by the Ohio Department of Education and administered by Beavercreek-based Parallax Advanced Research, allocated the funds to expand the state's research and development capabilities across academic institutions and businesses. This will support Ohio-based federal partner needs, which promotes the state's economic growth.
