Workforce Development at Sinclair College is leading the investigation into the workforce of tomorrow by weaving Industry 4.0 standards into the region’s manufacturing and supply chain capabilities. In pursuit of Digital Transformation among the defense industrial base, the Digital Thread Initiative is supported by a subcontract awarded to Sinclair College as part of the Regional Fabrication and Certification Training Labs enterprise. Sinclair's Digital Thread Initiative team will provide an overview of the program’s objectives to promote data literacy education in the current and future workforce, develop smart manufacturing training programs for students and employers, and enable small and medium-sized manufacturers to transition to a digital manufacturing environment rapidly and successfully.
