AUVSI- Noise Pollution and Social Acceptance

Recent advancements and interests in UAM have resulted in products generating increased noise – a major technical and social challenge that hinders the enabling of UAM and impacts the goals of assured autonomy.

AUVSI is excited to welcome Onur Bilgen of Rutgers University to address their work being done on a low-noise propulsion system. Joining Onur is Michael McNair, Vice President of Aerospace at SAE Industry Technologies Consortia (ITC) who will address noise and social acceptance in the Unmanned industry.
