OVERVIEW The NGAUS General Conference is the Association’s annual business meeting. Army and Air National Guard officers from all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia gather to network, set their legislative agenda and hear from America’s civilian and military leaders. Family members, industry representatives and local officials also attend.

THEME The theme for the conference will be The National Guard: Built to Defend America. The theme makes a statement about who we are, what we do and where we will gather to conduct the business of our association. (Read more)

SPEAKERS Gen. Randy A. George, the chief of staff of the Army, and Gen. David W. Allvin, the chief of staff of the Air Force, have accepted invitations to address conference attendees. Bob Parsons — America's most successful veteran entrepreneur, the founder of GoDaddy and the CEO of Parsons Xtreme Golf — is also scheduled to address conference attendees. EXHIBITION Expect another large tradeshow with many new exhibitors — nearly 40% of the more than 320 exhibitors.

REGISTRATION...NOW OPEN!...Free registration to all currently serving company grade officers, warrant officer 1s and chief warrant officer 2s and their spouses. $50 for currently serving field grade officers and their spouses and currently serving CWO 3-5, along with their spouses. Registration for other attendees will be the standard $180. Individual attendees must register through their state association. More than 3,700 National Guard officers, their spouses and other guests have formally registered for this year's conference, as of Aug. 13. This amount is 800+ more people than last year at this time for Reno, surpassing last year's total registration count.
