Is this Course for You?

If you're interested in making money using your drone or adding Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or drone capabilities to your industry, join other professionals and hobbyists as they learn how to fly sUAVs (drones) and prepare for the FAA's part 107 exam.

The Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) will host NORCODA October 21-23 as they bring their UAV expertise to the OAI campus.

Passing the part 107 exam makes you a certified commercial drone pilot. You will be able to fly in uncontrolled airspace that those without certification cannot legally fly. You'll learn about Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) which directly supports UAS integration into the airspace. Knowing the law will protect you, your company and the public when piloting a drone.

UAVs initially used in military scenarios and for first responders, gives you a competitive edge in any industry, as this technology is quickly finding daily use across all industries.
